A cameraman suffered an injury scare during the fifth T20I between India and South Africa after being struck by a powerful six hit by Hardik Pandya.
The incident occurred when Hardik stepped out to Corbin Bosch and launched a flat, lofted drive over mid-off for six. The ball travelled at pace and struck a cameraman flush on the left arm, just under the shoulder, as he was focused on the Indian dugout and unaware of the incoming shot.
The cameraman was immediately attended to by physios and medical staff, who provided an ice pack to the affected area. Visuals showed the impact spot turning red following the blow.
Play continued after the brief stoppage, while the cameraman remained under observation. The incident highlighted the risks faced by broadcast crew positioned close to the boundary during high-intensity matches.
