Redmi recently launched the Redmi 15C 5G in India, and the smartphone is now available for purchase on Amazon at a discounted price. The device is currently listed at ₹12,499, down from its earlier price of ₹14,999, reflecting a straight 17% price cut. Buyers can also avail of exchange benefits of up to ₹11,850, depending on eligibility and device condition.
The Redmi 15C features a plastic back design with a squiricle-shaped camera module, while the front houses a waterdrop-style notch. Despite packing a large battery, the phone measures 8.05mm in thickness and weighs 211 grams. It comes with an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and retains the 3.5mm headphone jack.
On the display front, the Redmi 15C sports a 6.9-inch HD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display offers a peak brightness of 810 nits and carries TÜV Rheinland certifications for Low Blue Light, Flicker-Free, and Circadian Friendly viewing, aimed at reducing eye strain during prolonged usage.
Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 internal storage. The phone also supports virtual RAM expansion of up to 16GB, allowing for improved multitasking based on available storage.
In the camera department, the Redmi 15C features a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, along with a depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone is equipped with an 8MP front camera with an f/2 aperture.
The device is backed by a 6,000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging, with the charger included in the box. It also offers 10W reverse wired charging, allowing users to charge other compatible devices.
