Vascon Engineers Limited has secured a major work order worth Rs 260.09 crore from the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) for the construction of a Super Specialty Hospital in CBD Belapur. The company disclosed the development to the exchanges on Monday, confirming that the project will be executed on an EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) basis.
According to the regulatory filing, the construction — located at Plot No. 4, Sector 15A, CBD Belapur — must be completed within 36 months from the issuance of the order. The awarded contract amount includes GST.
The company clarified that the order is entirely domestic and does not involve any related-party transactions. Vascon also stated that the promoters have no interest in the awarding entity.
The project marks a significant infrastructure push in Navi Mumbai’s healthcare capacity as the municipal corporation targets expanded specialty medical services in the region.
