Waaree Energies Limited announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Sangam Solar One Private Limited, has commissioned a new 1.5 GW solar module manufacturing facility at Samakhiali-Kutch, Gujarat.

According to the company’s filing, the plant consists of two module manufacturing lines of 750 MW each, taking the total capacity to 1,500 MW. Operations at the new facility commenced on December 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM.

The expansion strengthens Waaree’s manufacturing footprint in India at a time when demand for domestic solar modules continues to rise under various government-led renewable energy initiatives.

The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR) and is available on the company’s website.
