Thomas Cook (India) Limited has introduced TACY, an AI-generated digital avatar who will serve as both the company’s brand ambassador and AI-powered holiday travel assistant. The announcement was made through a press release dated December 12, 2025, filed with the stock exchanges.
According to the filing, TACY is integrated into the company’s digital ecosystem and will assist customers with holiday planning and expert guidance on the Thomas Cook India website. The initiative marks a major step in the company’s strategy to deepen engagement with digital-first consumers.
TACY’s debut coincides with the early launch of Thomas Cook India’s Europe Summer 2026 portfolio, which features over 1,000 guaranteed departures and curated packages across Western Europe, Eastern Europe, the Mediterranean, and Scandinavia. As part of the campaign, the company has produced AI-generated videos featuring TACY, designed to showcase travel experiences, highlight product strengths and simplify trip decision-making.
The company noted that it is also incorporating QR-enabled touchpoints to bridge traditional media with digital content, strengthening its omnichannel presence.
Mr. Abraham Alapatt, President & Group Head – Marketing, Service Quality, Value Added Services & Innovation, stated in the press release that India’s young and digitally savvy travellers expect interactive, conversational experiences. He added that TACY represents a “new era of marketing innovation” tailored to modern holidaymakers.
The filing also highlights Thomas Cook India’s industry footprint, its subsidiaries including Sterling Holiday Resorts and SOTC Travel, and its parentage under Fairbridge Capital (Mauritius) Limited, part of the Fairfax Financial Holdings group.
