Filming starts April 13, 2026 in New York City. Season 1 went from January cameras to July premiere, so do the math and Season 2 is aiming for late September or early October 2026 to land right around the original Dexter’s 20th anniversary (October 1st). Clyde Phillips basically said the goal is “same bat-time, same bat-channel” as the first season, so expect another Friday drop on Paramount+ with Showtime, probably September 25 or October 2, 2026.

Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 Potential Plot
Season 1 ended with Dexter stealing Leon Prater’s yacht and that giant duffel bag full of killer files.
