RateGain Travel Technologies has announced a key integration between its AI-powered UNO Booking Engine and fintech major PayU, a move aimed at strengthening India’s Swadeshi technology ecosystem.

The company stated that the partnership is designed to help Indian hotels modernise their direct booking channels by combining RateGain’s AI-driven personalisation tools with PayU’s secure and localised payment solutions. Hotels using UNO will now be able to offer faster checkouts with options such as UPI, wallets, cards, EMIs and Pay-Later services, reducing friction and improving conversions.

Ashish Sikka, Business Head of UNO Platforms, said the collaboration will help hotels build guest trust and profitability by creating a frictionless and secure booking journey. PayU’s Chief Growth and Marketing Officer, Vineet Sethi, added that the integration aligns with PayU’s focus on strengthening digital payments in the travel ecosystem.

RateGain highlighted that UNO Booking Engine, built in India, already supports features such as real-time parity checks, smart upselling and a three-step checkout system. The integration with PayU aims to provide hotels with future-ready direct booking technology suited for both Indian and global hospitality needs.
