Manchester United continued their impressive Premier League resurgence with a dominant 4–1 victory away at Wolverhampton Wanderers, a result that lifted them to 6th place in the standings and brought them within just eight points of leaders Arsenal. With momentum building and the table tightening, United’s late push for a top-four finish,  and potentially more has, sparked renewed optimism.

Wolves opened the scoring through Jean-Ricner Bellegarde in first-half stoppage time, capitalising on a brief defensive lapse. However, United responded in emphatic fashion and completely took control after the break.

The comeback was led by a Bruno Fernandes masterclass, as the captain delivered a standout performance with two crucial goals. His first came in the 25th minute, setting the tone for the visitors’ fightback. Fernandes later struck again in the 82nd minute to seal the victory and cap a commanding individual display.

In between those goals, Summer signing Bryan Mbeumo continued his excellent scoring form with a tidy finish just six minutes into the second half. The Cameroonian attacker has slotted seamlessly into the United frontline, providing pace, creativity, and relentless pressing.
