Real Madrid have been dealt another worrying injury blow after defender Éder Militão was forced off the pitch with a potential new muscle problem during their latest outing at the Santiago Bernabéu. The Brazilian centre-back looked visibly distressed as he clutched his leg and had to be supported by two members of Madrid’s medical staff while leaving the field.

Militão, who has only recently returned from a long-term ACL injury, appeared in significant discomfort, raising immediate concerns within the club about the severity of this latest setback. His expression as he exited suggested that he felt the issue instantly, prompting Madrid to act quickly to avoid any further damage.

Antonio Rüdiger came on to replace him, reshaping Xabi Alonso’s defensive setup for the remainder of the match. The German defender has been a consistent performer throughout the season, but the loss of Militão adds to the growing list of fitness concerns that Madrid have managed in recent months.
