Shyam Metalics and Energy Ltd has released its consolidated sales update for November 2025, reporting healthy year-on-year growth across key product segments, including stainless steel, pellets, speciality alloys and pig iron, according to the company’s filing dated December 5, 2025 .
Stainless Steel Shows 14% Realisation Growth
The company reported 6,518 MT of stainless-steel sales in November FY26, up 7.48% YoY, with realisations rising 14.33% to ₹1,42,442 per MT. Month-on-month (MoM), both sales volume and realisations improved slightly, indicating stable demand conditions.
Aluminium Foil Volumes Dip YoY but Surge MoM
Aluminium foil sales declined 4.58% YoY to 1,926 MT, but MoM volumes jumped 40.65%, driven by improved off-take. Realisations, however, dropped 2.18% MoM. This suggests a possible product mix shift or soft pricing environment .
Pellets Record Massive 131% YoY Growth
Pellets were the standout performer, with sales volumes surging 131% YoY to 1,02,561 MT. Realisations improved marginally by 1.02% YoY. MoM, volumes were up 13%, though prices dipped slightly. The strong performance reinforces the company’s position as one of India’s leading pellet producers.
Speciality Alloys Maintain Strong Momentum
Speciality alloy volumes rose 19.64% YoY and 20.03% MoM, reflecting robust demand from downstream industries. Realisations remained largely stable.
Carbon Steel Steady but Realisations Softer
Carbon steel volumes grew marginally by 0.98% YoY, though realisations were 9.18% lower, mirroring soft steel pricing trends seen across the industry in recent months.
CR Coils/Sheets See 12× Jump in Sales
The CR Coil/Sheet business posted a 1234% YoY increase in volumes after commissioning colour-coated capacity at Jamuria. Realisations rose 25% YoY, with the product line now marketed under premium “SEL Tiger Roofing Sheets” brands.
Sponge Iron Down, But Pig Iron Soars
Sponge iron sales declined 7.65% YoY, but pig iron saw extraordinary growth — up 1865% YoY to 55,425 MT, enabled by the ramp-up of the 7.7 lakh TPA blast furnace commissioned in late 2024 .
