Bondada Engineering Limited has announced that it has received a significant order from Kernex Microsystems (India) Ltd., marking its second major win in the railway infrastructure segment. According to the company’s filing with the stock exchange, the order involves the supply and installation of a 40-metre ground-based, three-legged fully tubular tower, along with complete foundation works for the Arokonnam–Jolarpettai section under Southern Railways.
The company noted that the project underscores the confidence shown by its client in Bondada’s technical capabilities and strengthens its presence in the rapidly developing railway infrastructure domain. The successful execution of the contract is expected to support modernization efforts within the Southern Railways region.
The scope of work includes fabrication and supply of the tower superstructure, installation of accessories, assembling, erection and painting, provision of aviation lights, lightning arrestor, earthing, 10 mm cable tray, soil testing and all related foundation activities.
The order value stands at Rs 10,57,33,474, and the project is scheduled to be completed within six months from receipt of the work order. Bondada confirmed that the award comes from a domestic entity and does not fall under related-party transactions.
The company stated that this development further solidifies its position as an emerging infrastructure partner in the railway vertical.
