India’s aviation sector faced fresh disruption today as IndiGo extended mass flight cancellations, while Akasa Air reported intermittent outages on its website and mobile app, affecting bookings and check-ins.

IndiGo, already battling four days of operational strain, cancelled all departures from Delhi Airport until 3 PM, and all flight operations from Mumbai Airport till 6 PM. The airline earlier confirmed that cancellations and delays may continue for another two to three days as it works to stabilise crew availability and schedules.

Meanwhile, Akasa Air said its website, mobile app, online booking, check-in, and manage-booking services are facing temporary issues due to system instability, causing inconvenience for passengers trying to travel today.

With two major carriers impacted simultaneously, travellers across India are experiencing significant delays, last-minute changes, and service disruptions.
