MIC Electronics Limited has secured a new government contract from the Vijayawada Railway Division for installing an IP-based Integrated Passenger Information System at two railway stations — ANV and YLM. The company announced the development through an exchange filing on Monday, December 1.
According to the Letter of Acceptance (LoA), the total value of the contract stands at ₹1,49,88,884.77, and the project will be executed over a period of 12 months from the date of the agreement. The order includes design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the digital passenger information systems.
The order has been awarded through a tender-based process, and MIC clarified that:
- The awarding authority is Indian Railways – Vijayawada Division
- It is a domestic order
- There is no related-party involvement
- None of the promoters or group companies have any interest in the awarding entity
- Key terms and conditions will be finalized during the signing of the agreement
With this contract, MIC continues to strengthen its footprint in railway-focused digital display and information systems, a segment where the company has historically held a strong presence.
