Charles Leclerc survived a major scare in Q2 after sitting P15 in the drop zone with minutes to go. Under intense pressure, the Ferrari driver delivered a strong final lap to jump up to P9, securing his place in Q3 and giving the team a huge sigh of relief.
Ferrari looked in danger of a double elimination, but Leclerc’s late surge kept him alive in qualifying after a tense session.
