Waaree Energies Limited has announced a significant business development, confirming that the company received a fresh order on November 28, 2025, for the supply of 140 MW of solar modules. The order has been placed by a well-established domestic customer known for owning, developing and operating renewable energy projects across India.
The company stated that the order involves a one-time supply arrangement and will be executed during the financial year 2025–26. Although the commercial value has not been disclosed, the scale of 140 MW underlines the growing demand for Waaree’s solar module portfolio and the continued momentum in India’s renewable energy expansion.
According to the disclosure, the order comes from a purely domestic entity, and there is no promoter or related-party involvement in the transaction. Waaree Energies emphasised that the engagement is completely independent and does not fall under related-party transactions.
This development adds to the company’s ongoing project wins and reflects strong market confidence in its manufacturing capabilities. With India’s clean-energy push accelerating, large-scale module supply contracts such as this are expected to play an important role in supporting new solar installations across the country.
