ABD Maestro Pvt. Ltd., the super-premium and luxury spirits subsidiary of Allied Blenders & Distillers (ABD), has expanded its presence at Ospree Duty Free, Mumbai, strengthening its focus on India’s fast-growing travel retail segment. The company announced the development through an exchange filing on Friday, November 28.
The expansion brings ABD Maestro’s flagship premium brands—Arthaus Blended Malt Scotch Whisky, Zoya Special Batch Gin, Woodburns Contemporary Indian Malt Whisky, and Russian Standard Vodka—to Mumbai International Airport, with further plans to roll out across all Ospree Duty Free outlets in India. The collaboration deepens ABD Maestro’s engagement with international travellers at a high-visibility retail touchpoint.
Ospree Duty Free, one of India’s leading travel retail operators, said the partnership aligns with strong consumer traction in premium spirits and rising demand for authentic, high-quality alcohol brands. “Duty-free retail in India is evolving rapidly… our partnership with ABD Maestro aligns perfectly with these trends,” a spokesperson for Ospree Duty Free said.
Bikram Basu, Managing Director of ABD Maestro, said the collaboration marks a significant step in expanding the company’s footprint in the travel retail ecosystem. “Ospree Duty Free is very good at what they do, and it’s an important step in expanding our footprint within India’s fast growing travel retail ecosystem,” he noted.
The partnership aims to elevate premium spirits visibility for global travellers while strengthening the positioning of Indian-origin premium brands in high-potential airport markets.
