The atmosphere around Bigg Boss 19 has turned stormy — both inside the house and on social media — following the recent “plank throw” incident involving Ashnoor and Tanya Mittal during the Ticket To Finale task. What began as a heated moment of competition has now sparked widespread backlash, with fans demanding tough action against Ashnoor.

Almost immediately after the episode aired showing Ashnoor striking Tanya with a wooden plank, social media platforms — especially X (formerly Twitter) — were flooded with calls to expel her from the show. Several users called the act outright physical violence. One wrote, “I Thought Promo misleading hai but no it’s Very Clear Ashnoor did this Intentionally And It’s Actually Act off violence and I support this Tagline KICK ASHNOOR OUT BB19,” while another called it “pure violence.”

Some posts accused her of being unrepentant — criticizing both her act and the perceived lack of remorse. Comments like “Throw Ashnoor out right now! She isn’t even sorry after hitting Tanya. Shame on those supporting this behaviour!” became common across trending threads.

Inside the Bigg Boss 19 house, reactions have been similarly divided. According to a recent promo and coverage, both Shehbaz Badesha and another housemate, Gaurav Khanna, sided with Tanya — claiming Ashnoor’s plank throw was intentional, not accidental.

Shehbaz was quoted saying that it was “purely intentional” and that Ashnoor clearly saw Tanya before swinging the plank.

Tanya too didn’t hold back: she accused Ashnoor of showing her “real face” to the whole country, saying that the apology (“Sorry, I didn’t see”) rang hollow.
