Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited has informed the stock exchanges that officials from the Maharashtra Goods & Services Tax Department conducted a search and inspection operation at the company’s offices in Mumbai between November 24 and November 26, 2025, according to a regulatory filing submitted on Thursday.
The filing states that the operation was carried out by the Assistant Commissioner of State Tax (Investigation–B), Mumbai, under Section 67 of the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The search began on November 24 at 12:15 p.m. and concluded on November 26 at 5:00 p.m.
Emcure confirmed that it provided all required documents, clarifications, and details requested during the inspection and said that no official document indicating adverse findings has been issued so far.
The company also clarified that the inspection has no material impact on financials, operations, or other business activities, as per the disclosure submitted to exchanges.
Emcure added that it will continue cooperating with authorities and provide further information if required.
