Electronics Mart India Limited (EMIL) has announced a strategic retail shift at its Abids, Hyderabad location, converting its existing Samsung Exclusive Brand Outlet (EBO) into a dedicated Haier Store. The company confirmed the development in a stock exchange filing on November 26, 2025.
According to the disclosure, the store at Municipal No. 5-4-14 & 14/1, Nizamshahi Road, spanning nearly 2,000 sq ft, will now exclusively showcase Haier’s product lineup, including refrigerators, washing machines, and air conditioners. EMIL clarified that Samsung products will continue to be available across its multi-brand outlets.
The company said the move is aimed at capitalizing on Haier’s strong presence in the large appliances category and enhancing growth potential through better customer engagement. The dedicated Haier store will offer improved product availability, expert guidance, and specialized after-sales support — a combination EMIL believes will strengthen customer trust and long-term loyalty.
The filing highlighted three primary benefits of the transition:
