A deadly terror attack struck Pakistan’s Frontier Constabulary (FC) Headquarters in Peshawar on Monday, with CCTV footage now circulating online showing the moment a suicide bomber detonated himself at the entrance gate.

According to early updates, five FC personnel have been killed so far and six others injured, with officials confirming that two suicide blasts were followed by sporadic gunfire inside the compound. No militant group has claimed responsibility yet.

The incident began early Monday morning when two loud explosions were heard at the main entrance of the FC Headquarters near Saddar Market. Security officials told Reuters that two suicide bombers triggered the assault—one blowing himself up at the gate and the second entering the compound before detonating his device.

A fierce exchange of gunfire followed as FC commandos and police engaged the attackers inside the complex.
Officials confirmed that three attackers were killed during the gun battle.

CCPO Dr Mian Saeed said the entire area has been sealed off, and a comprehensive clearance operation is underway to ensure no remaining threat inside the headquarters.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa IG Zulfiqar Hameed confirmed the suicide bombings to Geo News, stating:

“One explosion took place at the main gate and the other at the motorcycle stand inside the entrance.”

Police sources added that the attackers tried to storm deeper into the facility but were stopped by FC commandos who retaliated immediately.
