NBCC (India) Ltd saw its shares climb over 5% in Monday’s early trade after the company announced that it has secured new work orders totalling ₹116.95 crore across both project management consultancy and construction segments.

According to the filing, NBCC received two key orders amounting to ₹71.86 crore. The first is a ₹29.49-crore project management consultancy mandate from the National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities (NIEPMD). This contract involves overseeing the construction of a new campus for the Composite Regional Centre (CRC) at Pudhupatti in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, a facility aimed at supporting persons with multiple disabilities.

The second order, valued at ₹42.37 crore, comes from the National Horticulture Board. NBCC will be responsible for the planning, designing and execution of the International Potato Centre (CIP) in Agra, along with various associated works. The project focuses on creating infrastructure to support research, innovation and development in India’s horticulture ecosystem.

In addition to these, NBCC also secured a separate ₹45.09-crore construction contract from Canara Bank. The assignment involves building the bank’s Regional and Circle Office complex at Murma, Nagri Anchal in Ranchi, Jharkhand.
