PVR INOX Limited has announced the launch of a new six-screen luxury multiplex at Elegante Unity One Mall, Netaji Subhash Place (NSP), Pitampura, Delhi, marking a major expansion under its Asset Light Model. The opening was confirmed through a stock exchange filing on Thursday, Nov 20.
The newly launched property, branded as PVR INOX Cinemagic, introduces premium cinema to the Pitampura region for the first time. Designed as a “new-era cinema experience,” the multiplex integrates entertainment, retail and lifestyle offerings under one destination.
Equipped with 4K Laser Projection, Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound, and recliner seating, the six screens offer a mix of formats—2 Luxe auditoriums, 1 P[XL] screen, and 3 uniquely themed mainstream auditoriums inspired by Forest, Galaxy, and Ocean.
With this addition, PVR INOX now operates 1,767 screens across 355 properties in 111 cities in India and Sri Lanka.
Asset Light Expansion Strategy
The Pitampura Cinemagic property is the company’s second cinema developed under the Asset Light format, where investments are shared between the mall developer and the exhibitor. The company has also opened 16 screens this year under its FOCO (Franchise Owned, Company Operated) model.
A Social-Lifestyle Cinema Experience
The multiplex includes a central atrium, a modern ticketing hub, the Luxe Lounge, a casual gaming zone, along with lifestyle additions like a perfumery and nail bar—designed to position the cinema as a broader social hangout.
Premium F&B offerings, including chef-curated menus and handcrafted beverages, are also part of the venue’s expanded experience.

PVR INOX leadership said the launch represents their vision of cinema as a “holistic lifestyle journey,” with Managing Director Ajay Bijli adding that the new Delhi property reflects the idea that “movie-going today is as much about the overall experience as it is about the film itself.”
