Wednesday, Nov 19 — NBCC (India) Limited has announced that it has received a major work order worth Rs 2,966.10 crore in the ordinary course of business. The award has been granted by the Nagpur Metropolitan Region Development Authority (NMRDA), according to a regulatory filing by the company.
The contract is for Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for the Development of Naveen Nagpur – Phase 1, a large-scale infrastructure development initiative planned by NMRDA.
NBCC confirmed that the work order is domestic in nature and falls under its regular line of business operations. The company also stated that there is no related-party involvement, and promoters or group companies have no interest in the awarding authority.
The filing, signed by Company Secretary Deepti Gambhir, includes additional details, noting that the PMC assignment covers planning, supervision, and execution oversight for the Phase 1 development project. The execution timeline is yet to be disclosed.
The announcement has been uploaded to the company’s website and notified to both NSE and BSE, where NBCC is listed under the symbols NBCC/EQ and 534309 respectively.
