KPI Green Energy Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Inox Solar Limited to jointly develop 2.5 GW of solar and hybrid renewable energy projects across multiple states in India. The announcement was made on Wednesday, Nov 19, through a stock exchange filing.

According to the press release, the strategic partnership brings together KPI’s project development and EPC capabilities with Inox Solar’s solar module manufacturing expertise. Under the MoU, KPI Green Energy will lead land acquisition, connectivity approvals, statutory permissions, right-of-way management, EPC execution, and the supply of steel structures (solar MMS). The company will also provide operations and maintenance services for the projects. Inox Solar will supply advanced solar PV modules for the entire development pipeline.

KPI Green Energy said the collaboration strengthens its position as an integrated renewable energy developer, ensuring assured access to quality modules for upcoming large-scale projects. For Inox Solar, the partnership provides a long-term pipeline supported by KPI’s on-ground execution strength and track record in solar and hybrid projects.

Commenting on the development, KPI Chairman and Managing Director Dr. Faruk G. Patel said the MoU aligns with the company’s vision of building integrated renewable assets and accelerating India’s clean energy transition. INOXGFL Group CEO Renewables, Kailash Tarachandani, added that the partnership combines engineering depth with proven development capabilities to deliver scalable clean-energy solutions across India.

The collaboration is expected to strengthen the renewable energy value chain for both organisations while contributing to India’s broader renewable capacity expansion targets.
