Senior BJP leader Nitish Mishra has delivered one of the party’s strongest individual performances today, taking a commanding lead in Jhanjharpur. As per the 10:45 AM update, Mishra has amassed 18,509 votes, extending his margin to 11,140 votes.
Jhanjharpur, which has historically shown a mix of competitive contests, appears firmly aligned with the BJP this cycle. Mishra’s massive margin reflects a strong organisational push combined with his personal influence in the region. The constituency has seen high voter turnout and Mishra’s support has continued to grow steadily across multiple counting rounds.
With this surge, Jhanjharpur has now become one of the safest seats for the BJP in north Bihar. Mishra’s increasing personal margin also contributes significantly to the BJP’s expanding statewide tally, which crossed 70 seats in the latest party-wise chart.
