The Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) continues to tighten its grip in key constituencies as counting progresses across Bihar. One of the biggest boosts for the party today comes from Bodh Gaya (229), where senior leader Shyamdeo Paswan has expanded his dominance with 13,357 votes, securing a strong 2,940-vote margin.
This marks one of the highest vote tallies among LJP(RV)’s current leads, surpassing other stronghold constituencies like Bakhtiarpur (180) where Arun Kumar leads with 11,353 votes and Nathnagar (158) where Mithun Kumar holds a margin of 4,431 votes.
LJP(RV) showing uniform strength across regions
With Paswan’s surge, the party now leads in 13 constituencies, including:
-
Govindganj (14) – Raju Tiwari leading with 4,512 votes
-
Bahadurganj (52) – Mohammad Kalimuddin ahead with 3,972 votes
-
Bochahan (91) – Baby Kumari maintaining a strong 3,160-vote margin
-
Mahua (126) – Sanjay Kumar Singh ahead with 3,536 votes
-
Fatuha (185) – Rupa Kumari maintaining 1,116-vote lead
-
Sherghati (226) – Uday Kumar Singh leading with 2,066-vote margin
However, Paswan’s performance in Bodh Gaya stands out, emerging as one of the most decisive leads for the party so far.
What makes Bodh Gaya important this year?
Bodh Gaya has been a competitive turf with shifting vote patterns in previous elections. Paswan’s strong margin — nearly 3,000 votes — signals a clear consolidation for LJP(RV) at a time when counting remains dynamic across Bihar.
As trends continue to update rapidly, Bodh Gaya has become one of the constituencies to watch closely for the party’s final tally.
