Tirupati, November 12, 2025 — Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani offered prayers at the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on Tuesday and announced support for a state-of-the-art kitchen project under the Sri Venkateswara Anna Prasadam Trust.
The new kitchen, being developed in collaboration with the Andhra Pradesh government and TTD, will be equipped with advanced automation systems and will have the capacity to prepare and distribute over 200,000 sanctified meals daily to devotees visiting the temple.
A partnership for devotion and service
The upcoming facility aligns with the vision of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, who has called for the extension of Anna Seva (free meal) services across all TTD temples in India.
“Through this effort, we are humbled to contribute to N. Chandrababu Naidu garu’s noble vision of extending the Anna Seva tradition to all TTD temples,” read a statement from the Ambani family.
Expressing gratitude, the Ambanis thanked both the TTD and the state government for their partnership, adding that it was a privilege to serve Lord Venkateswara and contribute to the mission ensuring that “no devotee ever goes hungry.”
Broader temple initiatives
Earlier, Chief Minister Naidu announced that the TTD will undertake the construction of new temples across India and abroad using Rs 2,000 crore from the Sri Venkateswara Temple Construction Trust. He also revealed that the Sri Venkateswara Nitya Annaprasadam Trust, with a corpus of Rs 2,400 crore, will extend free food services to over 60 temples nationwide.
Ambani family’s temple contributions
On the same day, Mukesh Ambani visited multiple temples across India.
At Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple in Kerala, he offered prayers and donated Rs 15 crore towards the construction of a multi-speciality hospital in Thrissur district.
In Rajasthan, he visited Nathdwara Temple, where he donated Rs 15 crore for the establishment of a pilgrim and senior citizen service centre, inspired by Pujya Shri Vishal Bawa Saheb and supported by his younger son Anant Ambani.
The Ambani family’s continued philanthropic efforts reflect their commitment to religious and social service, supporting projects that blend devotion, community welfare, and infrastructure development across India.
