Frankly Wearing, India’s fastest-growing creator-led merchandise marketplace, has raised a round of funding from Delhi-based angel investors. The company plans to use the funds to accelerate creator onboarding, strengthen its technology, and expand brand partnerships with a vision to become India’s largest and most trusted creator merchandise platform.
Founded with a mission to empower independent Indian creators, Frankly Wearing enables artists, NGOs, influencers, and communities to launch their own merchandise lines instantly – without inventory, minimums, or upfront costs. Every product is printed on demand, supporting a sustainable, eco-conscious approach to production.
“We’ve been completely bootstrapped till now and have built strong fundamentals with consistent growth and healthy margins,” said Angad Singh Puri, Co-founder of Frankly Wearing. “This funding allows us to scale responsibly while staying true to our core, enabling creators to monetise their influence authentically and sustainably.”
The round led by Delhi-based angels, comes on the back of steady Year-on-Year growth and growing profitability, driven entirely by organic reach, social media campaigns, community engagement, and creator-led marketing.
With over 15,000 creators and NGOs already onboard, including names like Humans of Cinema, The Alipore Post, and Internet Freedom Foundation, Frankly Wearing now aims to bring India’s leading creators on board and become the go-to platform for creator-led commerce.

The newly raised funds will be directed towards creator growth, technology enhancements, and brand awareness initiatives. The company also plans to launch new product categories that will allow creators to experiment with selling art across different kinds of merchandise.
Having operated profitably since inception, Frankly Wearing continues to stand out as a bootstrapped success story in India’s fast-growing creator-commerce landscape.
“We’re not just selling apparel – we’re building the backbone of the creator-led fashion ecosystem in India,” Naman Wadhwa Co-founder added. “Every product is designed by independent Indian creators, and every order supports local creativity.”
Frankly Wearing’s roadmap includes expanding into international markets, while continuing to champion Indian creators globally.
