Friday, Nov 7: The much-anticipated India vs Pakistan Pool C clash in the Hong Kong Sixes 2025 ended dramatically, with India clinching victory by 2 runs via the DLS method after rain interrupted play at the Mission Road Ground, Mong Kok.

Chasing 87 runs, Pakistan were 41/1 in 3 overs when heavy rain halted proceedings. Despite a strong start from Khawaja Nafay (18 off 9) and Abdul Samad (16 off 6), the DLS calculations went in India’s favor.

Earlier, India posted 86/4 in their 6 overs, powered by Robin Uthappa’s 28 (11) and Dinesh Karthik’s unbeaten 17 (6). For Pakistan, Muhammad Shahzad stood out with two wickets in a fiery spell.

With rain refusing to relent, officials called off the game, handing India a narrow 2-run win under DLS to open their campaign on a winning note.
