Friday, Nov 7: Hindalco Industries Ltd reported a 21% year-on-year (YoY) rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 4,741 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2025 (Q2 FY26), compared to Rs 3,909 crore in the same period last year.

The company’s total income increased to Rs 66,771 crore, marking a YoY growth of 13.5%, driven by improved operational efficiencies and higher aluminum realizations. Revenue from operations stood at Rs 66,058 crore versus Rs 58,203 crore a year earlier.

Operating performance also strengthened, with EBITDA and margins improving amid cost control and lower input prices. The total expenses rose to Rs 60,050 crore from Rs 53,121 crore in Q2 FY25, largely due to higher raw material and employee costs.

Hindalco’s profit before tax stood at Rs 6,540 crore, reflecting healthy performance across its India and Novelis segments. The company reported tax expenses of Rs 1,751 crore, higher than Rs 1,506 crore in the previous quarter.
