Friday, Nov 7: India have set a target of 87 runs for Pakistan in their Pool C clash of the Hong Kong Super Sixes 2025, played at the Mission Road Ground in Mong Kok.

Batting first after Pakistan won the toss and opted to field, India put up 86/4 in their 6 overs, thanks to a strong start from Robin Uthappa and skipper Dinesh Karthik.

Uthappa smashed 28 off 11 balls before being trapped lbw by Muhammad Shahzad, while Bharath Chipli contributed a quick 24 off 13 balls. Karthik remained unbeaten on 17 off just 6 balls, ensuring India finished strongly despite losing a few wickets in the middle.

Pakistan bowlers Muhammad Shahzad and Abdul Samad picked up key wickets, but India’s aggressive intent helped them post a competitive total.

Pakistan now need 87 runs in 6 overs to win this high-voltage encounter between the two arch-rivals.
