Friday, November 7: Renewable energy infrastructure company KP Energy Limited has reported strong financial performance for the quarter ended September 30, 2025 (Q2 FY26), driven by higher infrastructure development activity and strong project execution.

The company’s total revenue from operations jumped 52% year-on-year to Rs 300.69 crore in Q2 FY26, compared with Rs 198.61 crore in the same quarter last year. Sequentially, revenue grew 37% from Rs 219.47 crore in Q1 FY26.

Net profit for the quarter stood at Rs 35.94 crore, up 44% year-on-year from Rs 24.93 crore in Q2 FY25 and 41% higher sequentially from Rs 25.42 crore in the previous quarter.

The company’s infrastructure development segment remained the primary contributor, accounting for Rs 288.95 crore in revenue, while power sales and operation & maintenance services added Rs 10.01 crore and Rs 1.72 crore respectively.

Expenses rose in line with execution volumes, with material costs at Rs 204.37 crore, compared to Rs 134.42 crore in the same period last year. EBITDA margin stood at approximately 21.3%.

Performance overview

For the half year ended September 2025, total income rose to Rs 520.16 crore, up from Rs 325.80 crore a year ago, while profit after tax jumped to Rs 61.36 crore, a sharp increase from Rs 43.14 crore in the same period last year.

KP Energy continues to strengthen its project pipeline under the hybrid and wind segments, supported by government renewable energy initiatives and strong execution capabilities.
