In an exclusive chat with Zoom, Amaal Mallik’s father, Daboo Mallik, shared his reaction to the warmth and fondness shown by Tanya Mittal and Malti Chahar towards Amaal inside the house of Bigg Boss 19. Recent scenes from the show revealed a playful tussle over a sweater and even a claimed kiss, prompting fans to note that Tanya and Malti seem to have an obvious liking for Amaal.
Daboo called their behaviour “sweet and lovely”, saying, “I believe it’s a delightful situation unfolding. It resembles a Mills and Boon story.” He emphasised that there is no criticism being made — only admiration for how things are playing out.
Looking ahead to life after the show, Daboo expressed his wish to meet Tanya, Malti and the other contestants once Bigg Boss 19 wraps up. “I would love to organise a grand celebration for everyone. I truly admire each of them for how gracefully they conduct themselves. They’re simply outstanding. If given the chance, I would be thrilled to host a large party for all of them. At this point, it’s not about winning or losing,” he remarked.
He also addressed the notion that show host Salman Khan might be favouring Amaal. “People need to realise that Amaal isn’t someone who is involved in a large number of films. He isn’t the one making the decisions. He’s just like any other artist who has produced some commendable work and has received recognition. He doesn’t possess the influence that people assume,” Daboo said.
