Mumbai Indians won the toss and opted to bowl first against CSK. CSK saw one of the worst innings that the team has ever played. One of the best franchise of the tournament lost 5 wickets in the powerplay and only had 24 runs on the board. Trent Boult and Bumrah were explosive as they took 3 and 2 wickets respectively in the powerplay itself. Rituraj Gaikwad and Jagadeesan were dismissed for golden ducks and most of the batsman scored in single digits. After MS Dhoni scored 16 runs and gave the team a few runs which weren’t looking possible initially.

Sam Curran helped the team cross the 100 mark line as he scored a half-century and hit those big shots for the team. Boult took 4 wickets and gave just 18 runs. Mumbai Indians will be happy with their performance and CSK have to work hard to defend the total to gain two more points. MI are all set to score 115 runs to gain another win.
