Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday extended his wishes to Cabinet Minister Chirag Paswan on his birthday, appreciating his efforts toward developing India’s food processing sector. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the Prime Minister described Paswan’s work as “commendable” and praised his dedication to continuing the legacy of his late father, Shri Ram Vilas Paswan.

“Best wishes to Cabinet Minister Shri Chirag Paswan Ji on his birthday. His work in developing the food processing sector is commendable. He is working tirelessly to fulfil the ideals of Shri Ram Vilas Paswan Ji. May he be blessed with a long and healthy life,” PM Modi wrote.

Chirag Paswan, who currently serves as the Union Minister of Food Processing Industries, has been actively pushing initiatives aimed at enhancing agro-based industries and promoting value addition in India’s agricultural ecosystem. As the leader of the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), he has been seen as a prominent young face in Indian politics, carrying forward his father’s political vision.
