Vedant Fashions Limited, the parent company of ethnic-wear brand Manyavar, reported a muted performance for the quarter ended September 30, 2025, with both revenue and profitability under pressure.
The company posted revenue from operations of ₹2,631.53 crore in Q2 FY26, down 1.8% from ₹2,679.45 crore in the same quarter last year. Total income stood at ₹2,830.68 crore versus ₹2,871.89 crore a year ago.
Expenses rose marginally to ₹2,090.24 crore in the quarter compared to ₹1,969.71 crore in Q2 FY25, driven by higher raw material and employee benefit costs.
Profit before tax stood at ₹740.44 crore, lower than ₹902.18 crore in the corresponding period last year. Net profit for the quarter declined 16% YoY to ₹560.81 crore compared to ₹669.03 crore in Q2 FY25.

For the first half of FY26, revenue rose to ₹5,443.43 crore from ₹5,077.67 crore in the year-ago period, while profit came in at ₹1,263.38 crore versus ₹1,293.92 crore last year.
Vedant Fashions continues to maintain a strong presence in the wedding and festive ethnic-wear market through its flagship brands Manyavar, Mohey, Mebaz, Twamev and Manthan. The results come ahead of the key festive and wedding season, a crucial period for the company’s sales cycle.
