Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has dismissed recent reports suggesting that LA Galaxy forward Heung-min Son is in talks with Serie A clubs over a potential short-term loan move in January.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Romano clarified that there are “no negotiations underway between Serie A clubs and Heung-min Son over a short-term loan in January during the MLS break.” He further added that despite rumours emerging from Italy, Son remains fully committed to LA Galaxy and is not engaged in discussions with any club.

The South Korean star, who made the surprise switch to Major League Soccer earlier this year, has quickly become one of the standout players in the league. His work rate, creativity, and leadership have made him a key figure for Galaxy, as the club aims to rebuild its dominance in the MLS.

Reports earlier this week had claimed that several Italian clubs were exploring the possibility of signing Son on a temporary deal during the American league’s off-season. However, Romano’s update has firmly put those rumours to rest, reaffirming Son’s focus on his current project in Los Angeles.
