Washington, October 28, 2025: United States President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that Toyota Motor Corporation will invest over $10 billion to build multiple automobile factories across the country.
Speaking to troops aboard the USS George Washington, Trump said, “Toyota is going to be putting auto plants all over the United States to the tune of over $10 billion. So go out and buy a Toyota.”
The announcement followed Trump’s meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, who reportedly informed him about the company’s large-scale expansion plan.
The US President also lauded Japan for making “big investments” in the United States and stated that both nations will continue to collaborate closely on shipbuilding and defense manufacturing projects.
