In the latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 19, host Salman Khan didn’t hold back his thoughts as he expressed clear displeasure over Mridul becoming the new captain of the house.

The discussion began when Salman turned to Shehbaz, who had first suggested Mridul’s name for captaincy. Questioning his decision, Salman asked what made him think Mridul deserved the role. Shehbaz explained that he saw potential in Mridul and believed that under his leadership, the house would witness fewer fights.

However, Salman promptly disagreed, pointing out the inconsistency in Shehbaz’s reasoning. “You didn’t mention anything about potential then,” the superstar said, reminding him that his earlier justification had more to do with lacking sufficient numbers than leadership qualities.

Salman further pressed Shehbaz, asking if he had ever genuinely praised Mridul’s game before. “You’ve always advised him to improve his game — so how does he suddenly become captain material?” he questioned.

Clearly unimpressed, Salman went on to make his stance clear: “Ye kis angle se deserving lag rahe hai? Everyone is as deserving or more deserving.”

The tense exchange left the housemates reflective, as Salman’s remarks once again underscored the importance of consistency, fairness, and merit in the game. As the show moves forward, it remains to be seen how Mridul handles the mounting pressure of captaincy — and whether he can prove Salman’s doubts wrong.
