Heartbreaking news has emerged from Venezuela, where a light aircraft crashed at Paramillo Airport in Táchira state on October 22, resulting in the deaths of two people onboard. The tragic incident, captured on video, has shocked the local community and aviation enthusiasts worldwide.
According to El Nacional, the ill-fated aircraft — a Cheyenne model with registration number YV1443 — crashed shortly after takeoff from Paramillo Airport, located in western Venezuela near the Andes Mountains. Witnesses reported that the pilot attempted to perform a low-altitude turn, apparently trying to impress onlookers, but the maneuver ended in a fatal stall. The aircraft lost lift, struck the ground on one of its wings, tumbled, and burst into flames.
Reports indicate that the pilot may have lost control after one of the plane’s tires exploded during takeoff, causing instability as the aircraft tried to gain altitude. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene, but both occupants were pronounced dead at the site.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the crash and to formally identify the victims. Local reports also suggest that the aircraft was linked to government logistics operations, though further details are yet to be confirmed.
