In a heated moment on Bigg Boss 19, wildcard entrant Shehbaz Badeshah openly criticized Elvish Yadav for backing Mridul Tiwari over him. Shehbaz accused Elvish of supporting Mridul in a one‑sided way, despite the closeness they share.
During the show, Elvish was seen chatting with Amaal Mallik and Zeishan Siddiqui, saying, “Elvish aisa banda hai, woh humare ghar aaya the, humne full seva ki, apne designers ko bolke usko kapde pehnaya sab kuch kiya… Par jab meri aur Mridul ki voting horahi thi uss bande ne ye bola ke ek tarfa kar do. Agar tumhe ek bande ka zyaada pyaar hai toh tum ye bol sakte ho ki bhai dono mere yaar hain par main chahta hoon ke Mridul aage jaaye.”

He added that during the same situation, “Jab aaya woh Bigg Boss mein toh jab meri aur Mridul ki ladayi hui thi yaad hai tab maine bola tha Jeet se bhi zyaada mashhoor hogi meri haar, teri L ki joh wish hai na ek tarfa waala woh bhi thukenge tere kirdaar pe. Ye baat bahar gayi hogi.”
To support him, Amaal praised Shehnaaz Gill, saying that not everyone thinks positively for others. Meanwhile, Zeishan tried to reassure Shehbaz, “Tere ghar mein koi aaya, raha, roti todi aur phir bhi usne support nahi kiya toh woh usko dikhata hai tumko nahi.”
