Abhishek Bachchan‘s digital debut, Breathe, was a hit and he has two important feature films coming up, Kookie Gulati’s The Big Bull and Anurag Basu’s Ludo. If these go well, Abhishek would move on to his next performance-oriented film, as a gentle turbaned husband, in the sequel of Manmarziyaan.

When Abhishek Bachchan and Anurag Kashyap were on the sets of Manmarziyaan, they vowed to come together for a film, Gulab Jamun, which would cast both Abhishek and his wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Unfortunately, this project did not work out. As reported by Spotboye, Anurag Kashyap is planning a sequel of Manmarziyaan. The star cast will be the same as before, Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal.

Currently, Abhishek Bachchan is looking for powerful, performance-oriented roles after his promising performance in the web series, Breathe 2. Other than Anurag Kashyap, Abhishek is in talks with Mani Ratnam for another film. Abhishek Bachchan says, “I don’t think I planned this phase. An actor pours his all into every project. It is not in his hands how the film is eventually received by the audience. You win some, you lose some. I suppose I’m winning some right now.”
