Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) continues to strengthen its position in India’s renewable energy sector with the successful commissioning of two new projects in Gujarat. Its wholly-owned stepdown subsidiary, Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Five Limited, has commissioned a 50 MW solar power project and a 31.2 MW wind power project at Khavda, Gujarat. While the projects were operationally ready on September 30, 2025, the official commissioning certificate was received on October 1, 2025.

With these new additions, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy capacity now stands at an impressive 16,679.80 MW, further cementing its role as a leader in India’s green energy transition. The decision to commission the plants was finalized late in the evening on October 1, 2025, at 10:01 p.m., following all necessary regulatory clearances.

This expansion highlights AGEL’s continued focus on scaling sustainable energy solutions across the country, leveraging both solar and wind power to contribute to India’s renewable energy targets.
