Escorts Kubota reports record tractor sales in September 2025 with 47.6% growth

Escorts Kubota Limited’s Agri Machinery Business achieved its highest-ever monthly sales in September 2025, selling 18,267 tractors, marking a 47.6% increase compared to 12,380 units sold in September 2024.

Domestic tractor sales were particularly strong, with 17,803 units sold, reflecting a 48.5% growth year-on-year from 11,985 units in September 2024. The positive trend in the tractor industry was supported by favourable rural conditions, above-normal and well-distributed monsoon rains, improved water reservoir levels, and an early festive season. Additionally, the recent GST rate cut on tractors and farm machinery has boosted market sentiment, encouraging higher sales.
