Drama unfolded in the Asia Cup 2025 final between India and Pakistan when Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav raised objections against Pakistan captain Salman Agha during the 13th over of the innings.

Axar Patel bowled a fuller delivery which Agha drove towards extra-cover. SKY dived and fumbled before releasing a quick throw at the striker’s end. However, the throw struck Agha as he completed the second run. Immediately, Suryakumar gestured to the umpires and was heard saying, “You check it.”

The appeal sparked a brief pause in play, with India hinting that Agha had intentionally come in the way of the throw. The third umpire, however, reviewed the footage and ruled there was no deliberate obstruction, allowing the runs to stand.

Though the decision went Pakistan’s way, the flashpoint highlighted the tension between the two sides, with SKY visibly unimpressed and the Indian players left shaking their heads.
