Pakistan brought up their 100 in the 12th over of the Asia Cup 2025 final against India at the Dubai International Stadium. The Men in Green, led by Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayub, continued to build on the platform set by Sahibzada Farhan earlier, reaching 99/1 in 11.1 overs.

In a surprise move, India introduced part-timer Tilak Varma into the attack, immediately after the milestone was crossed. Varma conceded just one run in his first delivery, as skipper Suryakumar Yadav looked to break the growing partnership and disrupt Pakistan’s momentum.

At the crease, Fakhar Zaman is unbeaten on 26 (22) while Saim Ayub has raced to 12 (7). With a scoring rate of 8.87 and nine wickets still in hand, Pakistan appear to be setting themselves up for a strong total, forcing India to explore unorthodox options with the ball.
