Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited (GNFC) has announced the successful resumption of operations at its TDI-II plant in Dahej, following a temporary shutdown caused by a sudden gas leakage earlier this month.
In its latest filing, the company confirmed that after completing all necessary checks and implementing remedial measures, the TDI-II plant restarted production on September 28, 2025.
“We hereby inform that the TDI-II plant, Dahej has resumed its operations after completion of the necessary checks and remedial measures and the production has been achieved today i.e. September 28, 2025 at 09:10 AM,” the company shared.
The company had earlier, on September 19, 2025, notified exchanges about the incident that led to the emergency shutdown. With safety protocols and preventive actions completed, operations have now stabilized.
GNFC also expressed its sincere appreciation to employees, government authorities, and surrounding communities for their swift response and cooperation in ensuring a smooth and timely restart of production.
