Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SpaceX) successfully launched another batch of 28 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit on Wednesday, September 24.
The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. Following stage separation, the rocket’s first stage landed on the droneship A Shortfall of Gravitas, stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
Notably, the mission marked the 22nd flight for the first-stage booster, which has previously supported high-profile missions including Ax-2, Euclid, Ax-3, CRS-30, SES ASTRA 1P, NG-21, and 15 prior Starlink deployments.
With this launch, SpaceX continues to expand its Starlink internet constellation, further strengthening its position as a leader in global satellite broadband coverage.
