Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has announced key changes in its senior management team effective September 25, 2025.
The company confirmed the appointment of Shri V. Shrinivas Rao as the new General Manager & Head (HBG), PS-BG II, Noida. He will report to the Director (Power). Rao, who joined BHEL in 1992, has over 33 years of service and holds a BE (Mechanical), M.Tech (Mechanical), and PGDM in Financial Management.
Similarly, Shri Ajay Kumar has been appointed as the General Manager & Head (PEM & CPC), Noida, also reporting to the Director (Power). Kumar, who joined BHEL in 1990, brings 35 years of experience and is a graduate in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
Meanwhile, two senior executives have superannuated from the company on September 24, 2025:
- Shri Pankaj Rastogi, Executive Director (HBG), PS-BG II, Noida
- Shri Praveen Kishore, Executive Director (CPC), PS-HQ, Noida and PS-PEM (Addl. Charge).
BHEL noted that these changes are in line with its succession planning and governance framework.
