Manchester City have beaten Huddersfield in the last night’s Carabao Cup 2025/26 season fixture. Manchester City scored two in response to none in the game, thanks to Foden and Savinho who were among the scorers. The blues have confirmed their place in the fourth round of the competition with this easy win over Huddersfield.

Manchester City booked their place in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Huddersfield Town on Wednesday night.

Pep Guardiola’s men dominated proceedings from the outset and were rewarded with goals from Phil Foden and Savinho, who both found the net to seal a routine win for the holders. Foden opened the scoring with a composed finish in the first half before Savinho, continuing his impressive rise, added a second to put the tie beyond doubt.

Despite Huddersfield’s best efforts, they struggled to cope with City’s quality and rarely threatened Ederson’s goal. The Blues controlled possession and tempo throughout, ensuring a smooth passage into the next round.

The result sees City maintain their momentum in domestic competitions, with Guardiola’s side now turning their attention back to the Premier League at the weekend.
